How Do You Access Information?

This is one of the questions I get a lot of times, especially after I give a presentation at an event. Many usually conclude that I receive second-hand information, but is that so? Technology has almost broken down all barriers. I use a screen reader on either platform, be it Android, Windows, iOS. A screen reader is an assistive innovation used primarily by blind/visually impaired persons to interact with their devices. It converts the onscreen contents such as text, graphics, buttons and more into speech or braille. Examples include Voiceover, JAWS and Talkback. The other way I access information is through braille. This is a form of writing system for blind people, in which characters are represented by patterns of raised dots that are felt with the fingertips.
